About

Every person needs a secure space where they can become their most authentic self. I strive to approach therapy with radical genuineness, compassion, warmth, and humor. I believe that therapy at its best, is a creative, judgment-free space between equals. This creates an environment where you can be yourself and learn to manage thoughts and emotions getting in your way. I like to incorporate approaches from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, mindfulness and body-centered techniques, trauma-informed practices, intersectional feminism, and sometimes a dash of geek culture references.

My specializations are anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, religious trauma, harm reduction, transitions, college athlete/sports, and self-compassion. I have received training in the AIR Network Model for trauma and dissociative disorders and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I have personal experiences in exploring gender identity development, and I am experienced in working with individuals who are transgender and gender diverse, as well as the greater LGBTQIA2S+ community. I welcome all bodies, relationship styles, and cultural identities.

I have 12 years of experience in mental health and recovery environments. I'm confident we can work together to explore the person you are and take steps toward who you want to become. You will not have to go through your experiences alone. I invite anyone to come in for a session and see if we could be a good fit.
