About

How are you showing up in the world today? Do you feel present, grounded, and able to take on life’s challenges as they come up?

If not, that’s okay! Managing stress, coping with trauma, and dealing with all of life’s other stressors can feel incredibly overwhelming. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor as well as Licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor who also identifies as a transgender woman. In my own personal and professional experience, life as an LGBTQIA+ individual is beautiful, unique, and dynamic. These experiences, however, can also pose their own challenges and difficulties. Finding a safe space and provider who understands these specific needs can feel even more difficult. Taking that first step to set up an appointment with a professional is huge. Give yourself credit for being here!

My therapeutic approach utilizes a combination of person-centered, trauma informed, and evidence based interventions. Additionally, I am skilled in cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and narrative therapeutic interventions. I also enjoy utilizing expressive art techniques when appropriate. I practice through a lens of body positivity, racial and cultural awareness, and inclusiveness. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals. My expertise includes treating depression, anxiety, suicidality, gender and sexuality concerns, substance abuse, life transitions, PTSD, bipolar disorders, and more. I work with both adolescents and adults. Please feel free to reach out via email or phone for an initial consultation! I am happy to answer any questions.
