We are seeking one “VIRTUAL ONLY” provider at this time. The ideal provider will possess a strong background in therapeutic practices and a commitment to improving the well-being of our transgender, neurodivergent and queer communities in Minnesota.
Duties
- Provide psychotherapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients
- Deliver client care that centers best practices in neuro-affirming ways
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to assess the mental health needs of clients and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Write gender affirmation surgery letters as needed by trans/nonbinary identified clients
- Commit to the decolonization of mental health
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
- Valid licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP) or eligible to be licensure track under supervision
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods and therapeutic interventions
- Experience in individual therapy required
- Strong competency working with neurodivergent and transgender clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining medical records
- Ability to work collaboratively within a passionate and dedicated team environment
